Suspect arrested in People's South Bank robbery

CALLAWAY, Fla. - Deputies have arrested one of two suspects in the October 19 bank robbery at People's South Bank. 

Malcolm Johnson, 21, of Lynn Haven is charged with robbery with a firearm. Officials tell News 13 they are actively searching for the other suspect, Trey Leon Harris, 23, of 4500 Garrison Avenue in Panama City.

According to Johnson's arrest affidavit took about $7,000 out of the bank and then escaped in a truck driven by Harris. They then went to a location in Springfield where they counted the money and disposed of the clothing and firearm used in the robbery.

Anyone with information on Harris is asked to contact the Bay County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS.
