MARIANNA, Fla. - Thousands of high school students visited EastSide Baptist Church in Marianna Tuesday, for the annual regional career fair.
The career fair is an opportunity for students to interact with representatives from different career fields to explore opportunities beyond high school.
Students from Calhoun, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty and Washington county high schools attended the event.
Booths were set up inside and outside of the church and students could walk around freely to learn more about each career opportunity.
"I think it's pretty cool. I think it will help out with finding out a career and stuff, I mean definitely I've seen and got some information that I didn't know of prior to being here," said Holmes County High School student, Michael Paul.
The annual career fair is sponsored by, Career Source Chipola, Florida Panhandle Technical College, and Chipola College.
