Springfield, Fla. - A Springfield man is accused of attacking a woman while holding her against her will for several hours, Springfield Police said Friday.
Ronald Seymour Murray is charged with false imprisonment, felony battery by strangulation and sexual battery. Officers arrested him after being called to a Springfield home for a welfare check. They found Murray and his alleged victim inside the home.
During an interview after his arrest Murray confessed to the charges, officials said.
He is expected to appear before a judge Friday afternoon.
