CALLAWAY, Fla. - A second suspect has been arrested in a Callaway bank robbery.
Trey Harris, 23, of Panama City, is now charged with principal to armed robbery.
Bay County Sheriff's deputies say Harris and Johnson robbed the Peoples South Bank on October 19. Johnson wore a cowboy hat, covered his face with a shirt and used a handgun in the robbery, deputies wrote. Harris acted as the getaway driver.
The pair got $7,000 out of the bank. After he was arrested Johnson confessed to the crime and said Harris assisted him. Deputies wrote that phone records also confirmed Harris' actions.
Harris is expected to be in court Tuesday afternoon.
