PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - Schooners in Panama City Beach wrapped up their week-long Lobster Fest on Sunday.
The party moved from the sandy beach to inside the restaurant for live music and great food.
All week long locals and tourists alike came and enjoyed the many different types of lobster dishes. Schooners Manager, Eddie Hughes, says the turnout was amazing with attendance in the thousands.
"Mother nature you know did what she usually does she played a little part in it but overall it was a great great festival, great food, great great people, great staff. We raised a lot of money for the kids for toys foundation and the aquatic and marine institute. It's been received very well, it was you know 28th annual says a lot and by far I think this was the best one," said Hughes.
Organizers say they have a few ideas in the works to make next years event different and even better than this years.
