A kidnapped woman was able to save herself thanks to some quick thinking and driving, according to the Lynn haven Police Department.
Sedrial Peters, 31, broke into his ex-girlfriends home, held her at knife point and forced her to drive him around. They drove to the Destin area before returning to Bay County.
When they returned the victim used her knowledge of the area and Peters' lack of knowledge of the area to escape, according to his arrest affidavit.
She drove to the Lynn Haven Police Department and escaped the vehicle as Peters punched her. She was able to get help and he was arrested.
Peters is charged with armed burglary of an occupied dwelling, grand theft auto and kidnapping.
