PANAMA CITY, Fla. - A driver walked away after ramming his car into a building early Saturday morning, according to Panama City Police. The structure, however, will need some major repairs.
Just after midnight, officers said a driver took the right turn from 23rd Street to Beck Avenue too fast. He lost control and drove into the former Quick Stop tire store at the southwest corner of the intersection.
The driver just missed the section of the building made of block and hit a wooden portion, according to police. He wasn't injured in the crash.
Officers added there were no signs that the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the wreck.
