PANAMA CITY, Fla. -
Panama City Police are seeking help with trying to solve a cold case homicide on its seven year anniversary.
56-year-old Lewell Butler was found dead in his James Avenue home on September 26, 2010.
Investigators said they have pursued several leads over the years but have been unsuccessful in solving this crime.
Lt. John Moore with the Panama City Police Department, said that's why they are asking the public for their help.
"I want the public to understand that no information is too small, they may think that the detail is not of great concern, but it may be that little piece of information that points us in the right direction or gives us what we need to potentially make an arrest," he said.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Panama City Police, or remain anonymous and call CrimeStoppers at 785-TIPS.
