GULF COUNTY, Fla. - A Pensacola woman was seriously injured in a crash on U.S. 98 and Pine Street in Gulf County Wednesday morning.
Tawanda Collins, 48, of Pensacola was driving a 2016 Chevrolet failed to maintain her single lane of travel and collided with a 2015 Kia being driven by Delia Lopez, 27, of Port St. Joe, according to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Collins was seriously injured in the crash. Lopez suffered minor injuries, troopers wrote.
They added Lopez was charged with driving without a driver's license. Charges against Collins are pending further investigation.
