PCPD Searching for Bank Robbery Suspect

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Panama City Police are still searching for the suspect who robbed the Summit Bank on 23rd street right before three Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said the bank was robbed by a middle aged white male.

Patrol vehicles, K-9's and the Bay County Sheriff's helicopter were on scene looking for the subject.

It is unclear whether or not he was armed but police say he should be considered dangerous.

Lt. Christopher Edmundson from the Panama City Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact law enforcement.

"We're currently searching for a white male suspect that was wearing a blue hat, dark blue hoodie, blue jeans, white tennis shoes. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and he possibly took off his shirt with a white undershirt that's a v-neck also, darker hair with a little bit of a receding hairline," he said.
