PCB Woman Guilty of Bank Fraud

BAY COUNTY, Fla - A Panama City Beach woman has pled guilty to felony charges, including bank fraud. 

According to the State Attorney's office, 55-year-old Patricia Lynn Smith pled guilty to six felony counts, including one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and/or mail fraud affecting a financial institution and five counts of bank fraud. 
 
While Smith was the manager of Northwest Florida Title Services, she participated in a scheme to defraud and obtain money by fradulent means from Bank of America, First Tennessee Bank, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Metlife Bank and Wells Fargo. 
 
On each count, Smith faces a maximum of 30 years in prison and a maximum of a one million dollar fine and restitution. Smith is scheduled to be sentenced on March 30, 2017.
