Panama City, Fla. - The man who allegedly robbed Summit Bank on 23rd Street last week was arrested in Hernando County after he attempted to rob a bank there, Panama City Police said Thursday.
John Goff, 46, of Abbeville, Ala., was caught after his fifth bank robbery in the state. Goff previously served 15 years in prison for bank robbery.
Police have also charged Andrea Kennedy as an accomplice in the Summit Bank robbery. According to her arrest affidavit, Kennedy admitted to assisting the suspect by 'scouting out' the location.
"This allowed the co-defendant to enter the bank at an opportune time ... and demand money from the teller," officers wrote in Kennedy's arrest affidavit.
