A Parker woman is facing multiple charges, including animal abuse, after police found two dead dogs on her property.
According to a Parker Police Department press release, officers were dispatched to a trailer park on S. Hwy 22A to investigate a complaint about two dangerous dogs. Upon the officers arrival, they found two Pit Bulls along with another dog that was deceased. Later, a search warrant was served for the home and another dead animal was found inside the home.
Investigators also found over 100 grams of synthetic controlled substances along with packaging materials.
Police arrested 45-year-old Roberta Joan Gill and charged her with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, animal abuse and violation of probation. Police are expecting to make other arrests in this case.
The two dogs were turned over to Bay County Animal Control.
Gill is being held at the Bay County Jail pending her first appearance in a local court on Thursday.
