Panama City Toyota Breaks Ground on a 5 Million Dollar Renovation Project

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Panama City Toyota broke ground Monday in their showroom to mark the start of a 5 million dollar renovation project.

They partnered with local contractor Reliant South. New lighting, parking lot improvements, and a showroom makeover are just some components of the project. The interior design will change completely and could feature a cafe for customers while they shop for cars.

The dealership has served Panama City for 15 years and the company said they were ready to make some changes.

"We want our customers to have a great time while they are buying a car or servicing a car so we'll be making some interior improvements which will make the customer experience better and hopefully quicker and a lot more fun. We hope this will be a place where people would like to come hangout even if they aren't buying or servicing their cars," said Greg Finley.

The dealership has over 100 employees. They hope this project will create local construction jobs as well. The whole project will take six to nine months and business will run as usual during construction.
