PANAMA CITY, Fla. - The holiday traditions continued in a day that is almost as popular as thanksgiving its self - Black Friday.
It may have already started for some stores on Thanksgiving, but the madness continues all day Friday.
The Panama City Mall added a few door buster give always to feed the Black Friday frenzy.
That's why folks lined up outside the entrance Friday morning with some even starting late the night before.
"We got here at, between 11:00 and midnight," said Harley Davlin.
"We've been here since 11:30-12:00 p.m.," said Tyler Matthews
They had to find ways to pass the time.
"We've been listening to music, dancing, having a great old time," said Davlin.
"Pretty much having a little block party right here in the center," said Brianna Griffin.
The low prices weren't the only things motivating these dedicated shoppers, though.
"The first 100 people in line get a free either drone or an HD camera which is basically a GoPro," said Davlin.
It's lucky for one shopper in line, because she has drones on her very, very long shopping list.
"I'm out here to shop for the rest of the Christmas for the kids. It's 57 of them," said Frances "Granny" Goodwin.
With 57 different people to buy for, you need an entourage.
"It's easy for us to keep up with each other if we know what color we got so we had the shirts made because we gotta make granny stand out."
At 5:00 in the morning the mall wasn't even the group's first stop, or their last.
"I've bought for probably about what, 8 or 10 of them so far. I'd like a lot more," said Goodwin.
Buying for so many doesn't leave a whole lot of room for yourself, but for Granny Goodwin, that's no problem.
"Well sometimes I might buy me something, but they all buy for me so why should I buy for myself," said Goodwin.
