Panama City Beach Woman Killed in Head On Collision

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - One person is killed and another taken to the hospital after a head on collision in Panama City Beach early Friday morning.

Beach Police said shortly before 2 a.m., Teena Carter, 70, of Panama City Beach, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of Back Beach Road when she collided with another vehicle, driven by Valeriy Pavolvich, 20, of Panama City Beach. 

Carter was killed in the accident, while Braun was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Beach Police says they do not believe alcohol to be a factor at this time, but continue to investigate the crash.
