A chase that started at Pier Park Sunday afternoon lead Panama City Beach police over the Hathaway Bridge and down 15th Street where the driver crashed.

Officers said it started at the Pier Park Target where two suspects stole at least three TV's. An off duty sheriff's deputy observed the crime and tried to stop the suspects, but the driver and passenger drove off.

Beach police also tried to pull them over on Back Beach Road near Alf Coleman Road, but the driver once again drove off and into Panama City.

Officers said the driver also rammed a patrol vehicle, struck a curb, and crashed into the stop sign at 15th Street and Fortune Avenue where the chase ended.

Neither the officers involved nor the suspects were injured.

Both suspects face multiple charges, and the driver also faces an aggravated fleeing and eluding charge.
