PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - The first ever Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival was held at Aaron Bessant Park in Panama City Beach Saturday afternoon. Food Truck Festivals of America hosted the event and only in it's first year- the event sold out!
There were more than 20 food trucks, many of them local restaurants, and about 40 different craft beers and wine. This type of festival was a first for our area and many local food truck owners say they're excited for more events like this in the future.
"I think it's something that is becoming more popular, especially in this type of area where we have a lot of tourists. I think the locals and the tourists would really enjoy something like this," said Amanda Vicente, owner of HaoLepino Hawaiian Food.
If you didn't get tickets in time this year, organizers are already planning next year's event.
