Okaloosa Sheriff Issues Warning to Spring Breakers

Okaloosa County, Fla. - Okaloosa County Sheriff Larry Ashley issued a welcome and a warning to Spring Breakers Tuesday.

"It is my sincere wish that your stay here is safe and enjoyable," he wrote in a letter posted to Twitter. "I want to caution you that the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has a Zero Tolerance police for drunkenness and other offensive behaviors."

Ashley also posted the Okaloosa County ordinances dealing with possession of alcohol by someone under 21, disorderly intoxication, open house parties and that animals, fires, glass containers and fireworks are forbidden in county parks and beach accesses.

"A mug shot is forever and no matter how photogenic you are, not something you want forever in cyberspace," he added.
