PANAMA CITY, Fla. - The suspect from a shooting at a local bar late last month has turned himself in to the Bay County Sheriff's Office.
Police had been asking the community for help finding Larry Reynolds since the incident occurred on November 23.
Reynolds allegedly shot Jake Cotterman in the parking lot of the Oasis Lounge on 15th street in Panama City.
Witnesses say the two men got into an altercation which led to the gunfire.
Reynolds fled the Oasis in his car but crashed into a house on Hamilton avenue before running away from the scene.
"I think the community reaching out and helping identify him put a lot of pressure and really gave him no other option other than to turn himself in," Sgt. Chris Nichol of the Panama City Police Dept., said.
Reynolds is being held at the Bay County Jail.
