Multiple Agencies Searching for Distressed Swimmer

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - Multiple agencies are looking for a possible missing swimmer behind the Regency Towers in Panama City Beach.

Bay County Sheriff's deputies received a call about a swimmer in distress around 5:50 p.m. Sunday.

Two deputies swam out towards the swimmer with one swimming about 100-yards past the second sand bar, but they lost sight of the person.

Officials said no one has been reported missing so they don't have any identification on the swimmer.
