Fort Walton Beach, Fla. - A motel manager in Fort Walton Beach faces multiple charges after officers raided his business.
Michel Frederick Martin, 53, of Fort Walton Beach, and manager for Holiday Lodge and Suites, was charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance, the operation of a nuisance drug location, and possession of drug paraphernalia., Fort Walton Beach Police wrote in a news release.
Officers raided the lobby and Room 205 at Holiday Lodge and Suites, at 209 Miracle Strip Parkway in Fort Walton Beach. During a search of room 205 and the lobby, detectives recovered Fentanyl, methamphetamine, cannabis, and drug paraphernalia, such as packaging materials, scales, and other miscellaneous drug equipment. At the conclusion of the search warrant, Martin was arrested.
Other people present during the search were released but the investigation is still ongoing, officials wrote.
