More than 300 Race at Coach Post Fun Run

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - A group of runners laced up their shoes Saturday morning to honor a beloved Coach.

The fourth annual Coach Post fun run was held at Saint Andrews State Park. More then 300 men, women and children took part in the tribute to the late John Richard Post. Post taught physical education in Bay County schools for 43 years, and after he retired, he became a coach at Covenant Christian School.

Race Director Tricia Petty says it's amazing to see the support from the community.

"It makes you very proud because I graduated from Covenant so it's exciting to see the growth every year and creating amazing new relationships with people," Petty said

All of the money raised during the race will benefit Covenant Christian's Programs.
