PANAMA CITY, Fla. - The Panama City Marina redevelopment project is at one of its most important stages. For almost a month, the developer of the project, Bob Sonnenblick has been conducting a feasibility study along with officials to ensure his plan can actually be done.
The study will assess whether or not certain elements will actually be a part of the project. If the study shows that his plan will not be as successful, then the commission will have to re-evaluate aspects of the plan. An update on his progress is expected soon.
"He's in the middle of doing these feasibility studies now, and so we're going to get an update from our staff within the next week or so to see where we are," said Panama City Mayor, Greg Brudnicki.
City officials are also working on posting updates about the marina project to their website so residents can keep up with the progress being made. The next commission meeting will be held November 28th at 8am.
