The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man involved in using counterfeit bills in Destin on August 5, 2016.

He was a part of a group of nine people, including women and children, at Margaritaville on Harbor Boulevard. The nearly $300 bill was paid in counterfeit $20 bills. Later that day, he paid for items at Mojo Sports on Legendary Drive with four more fake $20 bills.

The OCSO is asking anyone with information on the individual's identity to please contact the agency at (850) 651-7400. You can also provide the information anonymously to Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at emeraldcoastcrimestoppers.com or 1-(850)-863-TIPS.

If your information leads to an arrest, you can be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
