LYNN HAVEN, Fla. - The Lynn Haven Senior Center showed the true meaning of Christmas Thursday when they gifted the Bay County Sheriff's office with boxes full of toys for Project 25.
Any toys and money donated will be used for needy children in Bay County this Christmas.
The Lynn Haven Senior Center spent weeks collecting for kids this holiday season.
The large donation will help the BCSO meet their goal of spreading Christmas cheer to 1,000 children in Bay County.
"Seeing that little smile or that parent that's so appreciative. It just makes it worth it, staying up late, getting up early. It just fills my heart with so much joy,” said Project 25 Coordinator Becky Johns.
You can bring your donations to the main office of the BCSO on Highway 77 in Panama City.
