Lynn Haven Residents Speak on Sheffield Park Trees

LYNN HAVEN, Fla. - Lynn Haven's commission meeting held a full house of residents ready to share their thoughts Tuesday night.

Nearly all of the seats were filled, many of them by people angered about the trees recently taken down at Sheffield park.

More than seven residents took the podium to speak on the issue.

Many complained that there won't be shade during summer concerts, and that the city cut many of them down for no reason.

City Manager Michael White apologized that so many people were offended.

He and Mayor Anderson tried to reassure them that the park will be beautiful when finished.
