JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. - A Panama City man is accused of using the social media service, Snapchat, to send explicit photos to a 16-year-old girl as part of a relationship that culminated in unlawful sexual activity, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
Jordan David Newman, 25, is charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor, transmission of material harmful to minors by electronic device or equipment and traveling to meet a minor.
Deputies wrote that Newman was friends with the victim's family. At some point Newman and the victim began exchanging sexually explicit photographs and in February they engaged in "inappropriate and unlawful sexual activity."
