Jackson County Fire Kills Two People

GREENWOOD, FLA. - The State Fire Marshal's Office will conduct a further investigation into a fatal Sunday fire in Jackson County.
Sheriff Deputies along with the State Fire Marshal's Office responded to the travel trailer fire at 3614 Highway 69 in Greenwood, Florida.
Two people died in the fire, Carolyn D. Melnik and Billy E. Sanders.  Investigators believe the fire started on a couch outside of the bedroom where both Melnik and Sanders' bodies were found.  
According to the report, authorities think the cause of death was smoke inhalation.
 No foul play is suspected.
