Panama City Beach, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol is still searching for the vehicle used in a hit and run crash that left one person dead Saturday night.
The vehicle is a Blue Toyota Prius from either 2013 or 2014.
Troopers said the Prius was stopped in the median and pulled out in front of a Honda motorcycle. The wreck caused the driver, 52-year old Robert Smith of Panama City and passenger, 23-year old Rebecca Summar of Arkansas, to fall.
Summar was then run over and killed by a third vehicle, officials wrote.
Smith was transported to Bay Medical Sacred Heart in critical condition.
The vehicle will have heavy front-end damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. S. Ellis at 850-768-2427 or 850-873-7020.
