The director of a Bay County group home accused of having sex with a juvenile in his care from the time she was 14 until she was 18 faced a judge for the first time Friday.
Bryan Meeder, the director of Clair's House, is charged with multiple counts of lewd and lascivious battery. He was ordered held on a cumulative bond of $2.5 million.
Investigators were able to obtain text messages Meeder sent to the victim and recordings of conversations between Meeder and the victim, officials wrote.
