TALLAHASSEE, Fla - Governor Rick Scott continues his campaign to get support for tourism efforts in Florida. This after the State House last week voted to kill Enterprise Florida and Visit Florida.
Tuesday in Tallahassee, Scott held a rally with representatives of the tourism industry. He wants them to put pressure on state legislators to still provide funding for Visit Florida.
Scott says Florida's job growth numbers...are double the national number...beating the top ten states.
Meanwhile, on the topic of the new healthcare bill to replace Obamacare.. Scott, who had success in the hospital industry prior to being elected governor, says he continues to give input in Washington and wants the best plan for Florida and the rest of the nation.
