GCSC Hosts Second Annual "Trunks or Treat" Event

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Gulf Coast State College celebrated the spirit of Halloween with their second annual "Trunk or Treat" event.

Friday evening the community gathered at the college to trick or treat from decorated car trunks. Costumes were encouraged by all and especially by pets!

They held a pet parade where owners could dress up their pets and bring them on a leash. They showed two movies as well. Halloween Town for people of all ages, followed by The Shining for the adults.

"We've invited the community out here with their kids and puppies to celebrate Halloween, go trunk to trunk just to pick up some candy and watch some movies," said student government vice-president Nathan Justice.

The decorated cars were all from students groups or academic departments at the college. The event was free to the public.
