GCSC Hosts Annual "Kidz Klinic"

PANAMA CITY, Fla - In celebration of National Children's Dental Health Month, the Gulf Coast State College Dental Hygiene Program is hosting its annual 'Kidz Klinic.'

From today until the 23rd, children ages 3 to 12 can get a free dental hygiene appointment.

The goal of the clinic is to raise awareness about oral health and to create a positive experience for the kids to learn how to care for their teeth.

'Kids Klinic'  also aims to provide a way for children in the area to receive dental care at no cost to their families.

"We offer X-rays, cleanings and the cleanings entail learning how to brush your teeth, flossing," says Staci Spikes, a Dental Hygiene student at GCSC. "Just oral hygiene instructions and then we will go through the rest of the cleaning."

If you would like to schedule an appointment for your child, you can call (850) 872-3833. Appointments are based on availability.
