BAY COUNTY, Fla. - The owner of a dog that made headlines for being aggressive and then taken away from the family, is back in the news.
This time with two different dogs and two different incidents.
Johnothan Jones owns Rose, a Labrador Retriever/Pit-Bull Fawn mix, and Mandy - a black and tan Hounddog.
Rose reportedly attacked another dog when the owner passed by his home on March 18th.
The owner of that dog reported the alleged attack four days later.
Jones said the other dog was aggressive with Rose first.
A report was filed with Animal Control, but no one was cited.
The second incident occurred on August 14th when a different dog owner alleged that Jones' same two dogs were loose and attacked him and his small dog near Zollie Young Park.
The man too blamed Rose the dog and called police.
Both animals were impounded, but were released back to the Jones family and again no citations were issued.
Jones says his dogs aren't deemed dangerous and both cases have been dropped.
Jones owned Marley the dog who had bitten a child in the home twice and the animal was taken out of that home and deemed dangerous last year.
After a nine-month ordeal in that case, the court decided to move Marley to a pet rescue mission in New York.
