Florida school grades released

Florida officials have released school and district grades for 2015. 

The grades are based on student performance on testing and other factors. The results affect teacher pay, student retention and other aspects of public education. 

Bay District was rated a B, Calhoun an A, Franklin a C, Gulf a B, Jackson a B, Liberty a B, Okaloosa an A while Walton and Washington Counties both received Bs.

13 Bay District Schools received an A, with only two receiving an F. Bay District overall was only 16 points away from scoring an A.
