Five more arrested in Marianna pill mill case

Five more people have been arrested in connection to an alleged pill mill run by a Marianna doctor and his girlfriend. 

James Michael Drummond, 29, of Cottondale, is charged with six counts of conspiracy to obtain a controlled substance by fraud, one count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device.


Four others, from Panama City, Shannon Michelle Martin, 30, Deborah Sue Custer, 53, Alishia Lynn McElvain, 32, Dennis Francis Wable, 25, all are charged with conspiracy to obtain controlled substance by fraud.


In January Dr. David Flick, 60, and Kelly Jo Duncan, 45, were charged with 14 counts of principal to obtain a controlled substance by fraud.
