Callaway, Fla. - A Georgia woman wanted by federal authorities there for conspiracy to manufacture and distribute meth was arrested in Callaway Monday.
Deputies were told 66-year-old Susan N. Anderson of Hortense, Georgia was in the area and they located her at a motel in Callaway. She was arrested without incident and deputies "obtained written consent" from Anderson to search her motel room.
Inside, they found about nine pounds of crystal meth, about $25,000 in cash, approximately 173 Alprazolam (Xanax) pills, two firearms, and a small amount of marijuana.
Anderson is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of Alprazolam with the intent to distribute, possession a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.
