Deputies Searching for Robbery Suspect

Panama City Beach, Fla. - Bay County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery on Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach.

 

On November 28, at about 7 p.m., a man entered the Express Lane store at

 8302 Thomas Drive. He told the store clerk he wanted to purchase two packs of Newport Long cigarettes. He then displayed a dark-colored firearm in his waistband and demanded cash from the register. After getting the cash, the man left the store, heading towards Ocean Street. It is unknown if he continued on foot, by bicycle, or was later picked up by someone in a vehicle.

 

The suspect is described as a black male with short, black dreads, about 5'11", and 140 to 150 pounds. He may have a goatee, or some facial hair.
