DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. - An argument between a man and woman at a DeFuniak Springs restaurant led to a chase and several shots being fired Saturday afternoon.
Walton County Sheriff's deputies said Travis Atlow, 31 pulled a gun out and got into an argument with a woman at the Burger King on Ates Ranch Road. They said Atlow first fired a shot on Bob Sikes Road which didn't hit anything, but then he followed the victim down Boy Scout Road where he fired more shots that hit the victim's vehicle.
Atlow was booked into the Walton County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless discharge, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was out on bond on charges of possession of a controlled substance and battery causing bodily harm back in November.
