Child Porn Suspect Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. - A man accused of possession and sharing child porn was sentenced to 25 years in prison, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Jason Nicholas Frandi, 34, entered a plea of no contest to 19 counts of possessing photos, motion pictures, Etc., which include sexual conduct by a child. Following his release from prison he will serve 25 years on sex offender probation and must wear an electronic monitor. He will not be allowed to use the internet or any internet capable devices, must undergo sexual offender counseling and can have no contact with any minors.  He was also designated as a sexual predator, officials wrote.

The investigation began in December of 2016 after undercover officers discovered Frandi's computer being used to download and offer images containing child pornography, officials wrote. A search warrant was executed in February 2017 which led to the discovery of more images of child pornography being found on the defendant’s computer.
