BAY COUNTY, Fla. - The Bay County Sheriff's Office released a photograph today of damage done to the front door and window of the BCSO Warrants Division when a car was driven into it.
The Warrants Division is located next to the Bay County Jail Facility at 5700 Star Lane, Panama City.
Around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, a Toyota Tacoma was driven over a curb separating the parking lot from the buildings, and hit the front door of the Warrants Division, shattering a glass window.
A Warrants deputy was inside working at his desk when he heard the impact and looked up to see the vehicle extending partly into the lobby. He went to the driver to render aid. The driver did not appeared to be injured from the accident, but was confused and disoriented. The driver was taken to a local facility to receive appropriate care.
