BLOUNTSTOWN, Fla - After receiving numerous complaints about drug activity in a section of Blountstown, the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office has arrested 13 people and is searching for several more.
The Sheriff's Office says it received reports about people selling and using drugs in an area known as the "Cut", which is a wooded area off of Ward Street in Blountstown. During an investigation, the Calhoun-Liberty Drug Task Force arrested 13 individuals on drug related charges, some of whom are pictured above.
They are now looking for several other suspects for outstanding warrants.
In a press release, Sheriff Glenn Kimbrel would like to thank the citizens of Blountstown and Calhoun County for their efforts in reporting illegal drug related activities.
Both Sheriff Glenn Kimbrel and Sheriff Eddie Joe White are continuing to fight illegal drugs that plague our communities and are going to do everything “within the limits” of the law to combat this epidemic.
Sheriff Glenn Kimbrel would also like to thank the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, ATF, and the Calhoun-Liberty K9 teams for their efforts during the Investigation.
