PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Another fast food restaurant is coming to Panama City.
Panama City Planning Director Mike Lane said Tuesday that Bojangles is coming to the city sometime next year.
Bojangles confirmed the news in a news release on their website that said they planned to open several locations across the state. Along with Panama City, the franchise, "famous for its all-day breakfast, hand-breaded bone-in chicken and made from scratch buttermilk biscuits," is opening locations in Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Gainesville.
Lane said the city aggressively pursued the franchise for the last four years. There is no word yet on where the new restaurant will be located.
