PANAMA CITY, Fla. - The Bay County Sheriff's Office arrested two locals last week after a search warrant revealed a significant amount of methamphetamine at a Panama City home, officials wrote in a news release.
The BCSO Special Investigations Division developed information and then got a search warrant for a home on Clay Avenue. During the search, nine ounces of meth was located as well as various types of prescription pills, marijuana, and about $9000 in cash, officials wrote.
Gregory Hobbs, 52, of 1315 Clay Avenue, Panama City, was arrested on scene. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a legend drug, possession of a controlled substance without prescription (five counts), and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.
Francisca Megan Elise Whitehead, a convicted felon, was also a resident of the home. Narcotics investigators located a firearm and meth in her room, officials wrote.
