Panama City, Fla. - A Panama City man sent explicit text messages to an underage relative, according to an arrest affidavit from the Bay County Sheriff's Office.
Jerry Baker, 41, of Transmitter Road, sent several messages to a girl over two days in December. In the messages, he described sexual acts he was interested in and asked the girl to come to his house.
After the incident, the girl, who lives out of state, went to law enforcement in another and showed them the messages. Investigators there then contacted the Bay County Sheriff's Office.
In an interview with Bay County investigators Baker admitted he had sent the messages, deputies wrote.
Baker was arrested and charged with use of a computer device to solicit a lewd a lascivious battery. He is being held on a $25,000 bond.
