BCSO Arrests Four in Relation to a Callaway Drug Bust

CALLAWAY, FLA. - The Bay County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of four individuals related to a drug bust in Callaway earlier today.

BCSO Special Investigations Division served a search warrant at the Comfort Suits on Tyndall Parkway, and found drugs inside the room. Approximately three grams of heroin, a small amount of marijuana and meth, several types of prescription pills, and a handgun were all found during the search. 

Rebecca L Steven, 26-years old, Edward Lowder, 32-years old, James C. Janowski, 40-years old, were all arrested with charges having to do with possession of drugs; and Rekenda D. Gaines, 38-years old, was charged with violation of probation. They have been been taken to and booked at the Bay County Jail,. 

In addition to the drug bust, the Panama City Police Department believes that some of the evidence found in the room might help them solve an overdose death case that they have been working on.
