Bay High student arrested today

Bay County, Fla - Late this afternoon, the Bay County Sheriffs office arrested a Bay High School Student who allegedly threatened to shoot other students. Authorities have said a student confided in the school resource deputy that she was concerned about a student named Dalton Capps.

The 14 year old Capps allegedly had been making statements that he planned to come to the school and shoot other students. Capps also drew his finger across his throat indicating he was going to cut the throats of other students or shoot them.

They say Capps  admitted to the allegations but said he was only joking. Law enforcement searched the boys home, and determined he had no access to firearms. The teen has been arrested and charged with a second degree felony. The arrest was made by the Bay County Sheriffs Office.
