PANAMA CITY, Fla. - The Bay County Vet Center welcomed the community to their annual open house Tuesday.
It's an opportunity for visitors to see how the center provides confidential counseling to current troops and veterans.
The Bay County Vet Center services eleven counties, including counties in southern Alabama.
The facility operates from 7 a-m. To 7 p.m., from Monday through Friday.
"We all love what we do. Just to give these troops, you know our brothers and sisters a place to go, to talk to somebody who's probably been there themselves, without any worries is a huge deal," said Veteran Program Outreach Specialist Matt Standish.
The Bay County Vet Center is also open every first Saturday of the month, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
It's located on Minnesota Ave and Baldwin Road.
