PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - The Emerald Coast Miracle League hosted a "Dance Your Wheels Off" Christmas party Tuesday evening.
Kids with special needs were welcomed to dance the night away at the Lyndell Senior Center in Panama City Beach.
The event included Santa, pizza, treats, wheelchair limbo, and two full hours of dancing.
Organizers said the evening gave people they care about an opportunity to express themselves.
"A lot of the kids are in wheel chairs, and they have walkers. So to give them a place that they can dance and have buddies that can help them. We have buddies from schools all over who come out and help them," Theresa Holley, a volunteer, said.
The Miracle League will host the Sims Veterans Christmas party on Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. Volunteers are welcomed to help spread the holiday spirit.
